From the very beginning, as the Council was being formed, Lisa was at the forefront of its development. This began with the survey of the PRSM members to define what they were looking for with regards to "green". This data then became the basis for forming the Council's direction, selecting Council members and establishing the Green Council Action Plan. All through the process, Lisa was there as a strong voice, helping set direction, encouraging and coaching the Council. As the Council grew this year and took on new members, Lisa was once again a guiding force in its developed by establishing industry partnerships that will further the Council's work. She has a commitment to PRSM and a true passion for sustainability. Today, the Green Council has a clearly defined mission and direction, with significant accomplishments under its belt, including a series of Green Webinars, presentations and a Green Learning Center at PRSM2009! and articles for the PRSM magazine green issue. The future of the PRSM Green Council is bright thanks to Lisa's efforts and dedication over the past year. Lisa is also a PRSM Association Board Member. Gipson, CTO of Phoenix ESG wins Industry "Buildy" Award Vision Award May 30, 2008 (Santa Clara, CA) - BuilConn / Connectivity Week Keith E. Gipson, CTO at PhoenixESG was presented the Vision award for his past and continuing contributions to the industry. He began at Honeywell as a service tech in the late 80's and moved into software engineering where he developed his first software gateway and FLITE, one of the industry's first GPL (Graphical Programming Language) tools, and received the Technical Services Citation Award at Honeywell and Jones-Lang LaSalle awarded him their national "Vendor of the Year" award. In 1995 he joined Johnson Controls as a Systems Application Engineer and developed the Metasys Personal Workstation (MPW). Along with two others, Keith founded Silicon Energy Corp in 1997. It grew to 250 employees and focused on web-based systems. In 2001 he received U.S. patent 6,178,362, as Co-inventor of: an Energy Management System and Method utilizing the Internet to perform Facility and Energy Management of large corporate enterprises; "Web-based Facility Management". He is presently CTO at PhoenixESG, where he continues to lead the technology vision that drives innovative energy asset solutions for our retail and commercial customers numbering in the thousands of sites managed under contract. |
