Most HVAC and lighting equipment used by commercial facilities incorporate alarm systems which produce alarms based on operation status. The challenge is that they generate alarms all of the time, and many are not critical. since numerous alarms can be generated in a day, efficient and timely review of all of the alarms may be overwhelming or an inefficient use of resources. It may be a waste of time. On the other hand, there are essential alarms being produced that should be given attention, and ignoring them altogether can cost you money and downtime in the future. This would be defeating one of the main reasons for these systems. Timely maintenance of your equipment can keep it running efficiently and longer. We understand that most companies don't have a way to quickly identify these critical system alarms. So, we developed one - AlarmEX! Critical alarms that represent conditions which may affect equipment efficiency, such as sensor faults, manual overrides, and zones that are exceeding preset points, to name a few, are important to be aware of and take action toward. By using our AlarmEX system, you can minimize downtime for a unit that may be in jeopardy of failing or has already failed. Maintaining these units will minimize operating expenses and help to ensure that units are not down or compromised, and working units will continue to perform efficiently. In the case of HVAC equipment, comfort levels in that facility will be maximized. As staff may not notice problems until units fail or have already failed, and outside temperatures rise or fall, unseen issues may become critical. Energy can be wasted, heating or cooling becomes ineffective, and visitor traffic may be negatively influenced. With AlarmEX, unit operating issues are found in a timely manner and quickly reviewed for corrective action. We would provide follow-up of dispatched and contracted work to be quickly verified; ensuring accurate reporting through AlarmEX. The AlarmEX system can also be set up for client access, and if needed, can be provided as a subscription service for those clients that may have internal maintenance staff.
